My curent read

My book came the other day and I just started reading it last night. I have only read the first few pages but I can already tell that I am going to enjoy this so very much. I am reading the Secret Life of Salvador Dali by Salvador Dali. Already he has gone into how much of a genius he is. Only Dali can think that much of himself and get away with it. If I had to pick one person who died within the last 50 years to have a conversation with it would be him.

Alice In Wonderland

I am so so so so excited for this movie to come out! I only have about a year to wait. I can't help it though, I love every new thing that I hear or see about it. First off it is based off of one of my favorite stories ever! It is directed by my favorite director and stars my favorite actor. Tim Burton directing Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp as the mad hatter, what could be better? They recently released five photos of the upcoming film. I can tell that this is going to be so incredibly cool. Burton says that the movie Will combine live action and some computer animation stuff. This really makes me want to read Alice in Wonderland and Through the looking glass again, maybe I will.

No More High School!!!!

It feels s good to be out of high school!!! It has already been a week since I graduated but I'm still not sure if it has fully sunk in. But it feels good nonetheless. I have spent my post graduation time painting quite a bit, I will post them soon. Ok well this is a very wimpy post, I'll do a better one later.

Trees

I did this series of three tree paintings a while back. I did not initially intend for them to be a series, they just sort of turned out that way. I'm not really sure which one of tehm turned out the best. The one in the middle was just kinda me going crazy, I ditched the bruch half way through and pretty much finger painted the rest of it. I was compleatly covered in paint after that one. I love it when I finish a painting and there is almost as much paint on me as on the painting itself.

Tea Party

About two weeks ago we had a tea party for the girls at church. Me and my mom made these adorable tea pot cupcakes. My mom made the cupcakes and I made the little fondant tea pots that we put on top. The tea party was so much fun. the entire room was decorated in lace and butterflies with paper tea pots all over the walls. the tables were decorated really fancy, there was a china tea set that we used and tiered food trays. we had finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam. I drank so much tea that I was completely wired the entire rest of the night, but it was so much fun!
